Thin Mint Truffles

Hello everyone! I have a recipe for you (obviously a day late). I figured that Thin Mint truffles
would work well because right now we’re in girl scout cookie season. It’s super easy (like truffles
always are) and you’ll have everyone believing that you’re an amazing chef!

Let’s get down to business!

-Thin Mints
-Vanilla icing (you can use store bought or you can make it yourself)

Step 1: Crush your cookies into crumbs and put into a bowl.

Step 2: Begin mixing in icing one spoonful at a time.

Step 3: Stop when you get to the right consistency. (Once it looks like this)

Step 4: Put that in the freezer for a while to let it stiffen.

Step 5: While that is stiffening in the freezer, melt your chocolate.

Step 6: Once your chocolate is melted, set it aside to let it cool just a bit. Take the Thin Mint and
icing mixture and form it into balls by rolling small scoops of it in your hands.

Step 7: Roll those little dudes in your melted chocolate. (This is quite difficult to take a picture of
while doing… hence the blurry pic.)

Step 8: Put them on a plate as you finish rolling them and put the whole plate back in the freezer to
cool them quickly.

Step 9: (THE FINAL STEP) Eat them!

WARNING: These are delicious and addictive!

    I’ll have to pass this on to our daughter as she bought so many boxes of thin mints…our granddaughter is a daisy and was selling the cookies.
